I’m a technology reporter covering Facebook, Uber and some of the most powerful companies of Silicon Valley.

How I Got to The Times
I stumbled into the front door of The Times due in part to my coverage at Facebook over the years, and likely due to my wacky Twitter feed. It’s basically a view into my personal id, and a running commentary on the ins and outs of daily life in the Valley.

Interesting Fact
I have more than a dozen tattoos, and somehow get away with not having to cover them up at work.

Most Important Business Lesson Learned
In the tech world, asking forgiveness — not permission — seems to work more often than not.

What I Like About Working for The Times
The amount of time given to deeply report stories, the rigor with which we treat our fact-checking and the level of impact delivered in the minutes after we publish are unparalleled. I have never been more proud to work for The New York Times than I am at this moment in history.
