Andrew Williams

I became a journalist because I’ve always been passionate about coding and visual storytelling and found an intersection of the two in data journalism. While I studied computer science in undergrad, I worked at my student newspaper every year and finally decided to attend grad school and make the pivot into graphics and data reporting during my senior year. With data journalism, I find important stories hidden in numbers and use visual storytelling to simplify even the most complex information for a wide variety of readers.
